Hello! I'm Joshua Clingo, an engineer-turned-PhD cognitive scientist who builds smart, user-friendly tech. My technical research is in happiness and meaning and I'm doing my best to spread it around. Currently exploring ways to use AI to build better science.
Here are some of the organizations I’ve collaborated with.

Ran human-subjects experiments with VR, audio, and tactile audio to induce altered states for phenomenological change

Evidence from two human-robot interaction studies on the extent to which people trust AI in dangerous scenarios

Computational biology platform for spacial analysis of tissue samples (part of software UX/UI implementation)

EHR for managing chronic conditions with longitudinal data collection through per-condition apps (allergies, asthma, diabetes, obesity)

It's been a long road—I've also worked on database platforms, car insurance, FHIR standards (healthcare), a Fantasy Ski platform, a tack welder interface app, a holodesk, pollen tracking, theory-driven and generating research, philosophy meta-analysis, teaching college courses and summer schools, coaching, writing/publishing/editing, and much more. (Here's a generic image of a courtyard to abstractly demonstrate this.) I'm a jack of all trades and prefer it that way!
